"For the past 40 years the Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund has been operated by a group of caring and diligent citizens that make up the board of directors.  It is a valuable resource for the Eden Prairie Police Department.  The assistance they provide with reward money, outreach programs and acquisitions of contributions to further our mission is greatly appreciated. Their dedication will certainly ensure continued success."

about us

The Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund was established in 1977 by a group of civic-minded citizens and community leaders.  The mission was and still is to provide the Police Department with funding for rewards and other needs not covered in their annual budget.  The Crime Fund originally obtained their startup with the help of the Eden Prairie Morning Rotary Club and modeled themselves after other Crime Prevention Funds in neighboring cities.

for peace

"In 1977 Eden Prairie was a growing community.  As a business owner, I knew that Eden Prairie would face challenges as the city grew.  The Crime Prevention Fund was created to focus on sustaining a safe and vibrant community by creating effective partnerships between the city, businesses, schools and families.  Taking a proactive approach to crime, the board was established to increase community awareness and engagement."
